Happy Wednesday, friends! We’re home from our wedding weekend in Northern California — coming to the blog soon! — and we wanted to share a few quick pics with you from last week’s coaching session with Kristy and Vic! They’re a super sweet (and hilarious!) husband and wife team all the way from Miami, Florida. It was their first time in Arizona, which meant this was their first time seeing all the beauty of the desert! So, when the light got really good and glowy, as it does here, we drove a few miles from our house and did a quick fifteen minute session — and even though it was super short, we just loved them so much that we thought we’d share them with you!
No matter how many times we see the desert at sunset, we still can’t believe two things: 1. That something so beautiful exists. 2. That we get to live in the middle of it. For the longest time growing up, we didn’t fully appreciate how magical and unique the Sonoran Desert is — so as adults we’re making up for lost time. And it’s always so fun for us to watch out-of-towners experience the desert for the first time. We had an extra vibrant sunset this night, so we’re pretty convinced Arizona was showing off on purpose.
Kristy and Vic, thank you so much for coming so far to spend the day with us! We just adore you both. You have such big hearts and warm souls. We wish you all the best in the coming year with your business (it’s gonna be a big, exciting one!) and hope you love these memories from your time here in Arizona as much as we loved helping you make them. Funny little side note: we’re thankful that no one got hurt walking through the desert — especially since we ran out the door so fast that we forgot to wear real shoes — and that Jordan’s hair survived the incredible gusts of wind it threw at him. Because NO amount of gel could contain it/keep it place with how fast it was blowing. We’re just glad we did our selfie together with the wind so it looked semi-normal! Also, Kristy, you make the wind look GOOD!
