When we met with Rossilyn and Roman to talk about their elopement, we knew they had something special. We could see it. Feel it. It was there. Even though the vast majority of the ceremonies we shoot are traditional weddings, we truly love photographing elopements, too, because of the deep and quick bond we form with our couples. We’re usually the only ones there in the getting ready rooms to pin a boutonniere on the groom’s lapel or lace up the bride’s dress. We get to be the ones to hoot, holler, and cheer when they’re pronounced husband and wife for the first time, and we even get to sign the marriage license to make it official! And above all, we have the distinct honor and privilege of capturing every moment in between for our couples’s family, friends, and future children and grandchildren to see and experience, and feel like they were there.
Rossilyn and Roman, thank you so much for letting us be witnesses (and photographers!) on your special day. It’s crazy how close we got in such a short amount of time! We love your hearts for each other and the joy (and style) you bring to everyone around you.
The bride and groom started their morning at the Kierland Westin and toasted to their perfect day with mimosas in hand. Then, we headed to The Boojum Tree Hidden Garden for their intimate ceremony.
Roman rocked the GQ look for his getting ready portraits. What a stud!
Rossilyn’s best friend joined us for the wedding, so she was able to help Rossilyn into her dress!
We seriously love the style that these two have.
One of our favorite parts of the morning was when our friend, the amazingly talented Tricia from Petals and Lucy, dropped off this gorgeous bouquet! It was the perfect compliment to Rossilyn’s gorgeous gown.
The SWEETEST moment of the entire day was watching Roman see his bride walk down the aisle! We LOVE this moment!
As part of their ceremony, Rossilyn and Roman tied their hands together to represent the joining of two lives and the unbreakable bond of marriage.
How cute are they when they look at each other?! Love the emotion in their faces.
One of our favorite first kiss photos ever!
After the ceremony, we got started on their first portraits as husband and wife!
We decided to start in front of their ceremony fountain, because we loved what the light and water were adding to the photo!
Teal doors and their love? Yes, please!

So gorgeous, Rossilyn! These up-close photos really show off the beautiful styling Monique on your hair and the stunning artistry Laura did on your makeup. And they were both SO sweet, too!
These two knew how to be fun and playful, and then quiet and intimate, too. Love these ones!
The way Roman looked at Rossilyn all day was priceless! He REALLY loves her 🙂
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Pacheco! It was an honor to be there to capture your love story!
