Happy Monday, friends! We found the best little surprise this weekend, and we just had to share it with you! While we were going through piles upon piles of our 2014 photos for a few fun year-end blog posts (coming soon!) we stumbled across these photos and immediately DROPPED our jaws and everything we were doing! As soon as we saw these two sweet faces pop onto our screen, we were smiling big, nostalgic smiles as we were instantly transported back to some of our best memories and our time with two of our favorite people on the planet, Miss Annamarie Akins and her amazing husband, Ryan!
Anna and Ryan are great friends of ours who met us in Venice, Itlaly, and put the best kind of cherry on top of our amazing European adventure when they took our five year anniversary photos along the streets of Venice! Now, everybody has seen those, because we’ve all but made wallpaper for our entire house out of them! Bbut what nobody has seen, is what we were doing before that session!
Earlier that day, Anna and Ryan met us at our hotel, and we all went exploring the tiny side streets together. Naturally, we insisted on snapping some photos for them so they’d have something to remember their vacation by, too! And even though the sun was high in the sky, Ryan had just traveled all night by train to get there, and we had to hurry back to our hotel to get all dressed up for our anniversary session, we snuck in a few minutes to make some memories for Anna and Ryan. In all the excitement of them doing photos for us, we completely forgot these existed, and when we stumbled upon them this weekend, it was such a fun surprise! And now that it’s just a few days away from Christmas, and the whole country is snuggled under blankets and scarves hiding from the cold, it makes it even more fun to see their shorts and sandals and imagine what it’d be like to be on a warm vacation! So let yourself get transported to the warmth of Italy in the summer for just a few minutes, and take a look at a few of our favorites of Anna and Ryan. We dare you not to smile.
