The colors she’s wearing are bright and bold. Like the way she smiles at him. His suit is classic, timeless, and strong. Like his love for her. Unlike the clean, simple backgrounds, they’re multi-dimensional. Giddily joyful, yet soft and sweet. Fun and playful, yet quiet and content. At times, stunningly serious. And always seriously stunning. It’s how they walk and talk, the way they laugh along the way, and how he holds her when they get there: safely and reliably. Without question. Without compromise. Spending an afternoon with them was a good reminder that conventional wisdom is wrong: you don’t have to choose between the journey and the destination, the mountain or the climb, because life’s not a metaphor and loves not rhyme. As it turns out, you can have both — and if you fall far enough in love (like they have) the two might even be one in the same.
Heidi and Bryan, we love you. You know that. We felt inspired at the first click of the shutter and had so much fun capturing your love. We’re seriously impressed with your “smize” skills and equally in love with your laughter. We’re so excited for your El Chorro wedding in just a few months! Let the countdown begin!
