They pulled us onto the dance floor. Hand in hand, they brought us into their most inner circle. Literally. While their friends and family surrounded us on the dance floor, the Greek music vibrated through the beautiful El Chorro room, designed by Outstanding Occasions and Petal Pusher, bouncing off the crimson florals adorning the exquisite tables and the delicate succulents hanging from the ceiling. The room roared with laughter and the love was tangible. As napkins were twirled and money was thrown, they insisted we put our cameras down, grabbed our hands and made us feel like part of their family. We shouted “Opa!” with them on the dance floor and waved the Greek flag in the photo booth with pride. And as we got in the car that night, we just felt thankful. So, so thankful. Because it is truly an honor and a privilege to get to serve people like Katie and Evan.

They are so fun, so thoughtful, so warm and so kind. We were blown away to see that on a day that was supposed to be all about them, they spent all their time and energy putting other people first. Effortlessly. You could tell it was just natural. It’s just who they are.
