You know those couples, the ones whose faces light up when they smile at you? Well, that is Angela and AJ! To. a. T! When they walked up for their engagement session last week — looking so fab, we might add! — we remembered why we just fell in love with them over coffee so many months ago… and why we’ve been so excited to finally get them in front of our cameras! But we had to wait. Way. Too. Long! Why? Something that was out of everyone’s control. When we met earlier this year, Angela and AJ were living full-time in California. Since we were going to be in their neck of the woods this past spring for a wedding (the one that ended up in People Magazine!) we planned to do their engagement session on the beach. Perfect, right?! We thought so! Until we heard that AJ got into a car accident (he’s okay!) the week of the session and couldn’t do it anymore. We totally understood and just scheduled another date when we’d be in California again… But then he got a new job! In a new state! And they ended up moving home to Arizona the day we planned their session! So clearly, that beachside engagement session just wasn’t meant to be! But we’re actually glad, because we got to do their session right here! Where they grew up. Our home, and their home, too. It’s where they’re getting married, and it became so obvious to all of us that a Scottsdale desert engagement session was just meant to be! And, friends, it looks oh-so good on them! Wouldn’t you agree?!
Angela and AJ, guys, WOW! You ROCKED this session! Thank you for adventuring with us among the desert wilderness and braving the jumping chollas for your photos.
