Six months ago, Anna and Brant braved the Arizona sun with us for their summer engagement session. As they approached from a distance, we knew this couple had two things that every photographer dreams about: sweet smiles and fashionable style. What we didn’t anticipate — what we couldn’t have predicted — was the electricity that sparked every time these two touched each other. Like two exposed wires from the same electric vine, these two flickered when apart, as if they missed each other, as if they needed each other to survive, but lit up when connected together again, as if all was right with the world. We didn’t think it was possible, but they managed to raise the heat of an already hot Arizona summer day.
Since then, we couldn’t wait to see Anna and Brant on their wedding day, if nothing more than just to catch some of their happiness and be infected with some of their joy all over again. It’s the best possible kind of contagion — we promise — and they didn’t disappoint when they exchanged their sport coat and cocktail dress for a heather gray suit and long white veil. From the impeccable details to their insatiable appetite for each other to the overwhelming sense we got from the guests that something uniquely special was happening right before our eyes, Anna and Brant’s wedding day was a pleasure to photograph from start to finish.
