Before we became full-time photographers, we were elementary school teachers. At the same school. In the same hallway. In neighboring classrooms. And we loved it. We met some inspiring families that we fell in love with during our time in front of the whiteboard, and the Homans are on the top of that list.
Homan clan, thank you so much for braving the early hours of the morning for this session. We couldn’t have made it without your laughs and smiles. We love you all!
We both taught Carter, the youngest of the trio, during his fourth and fifth grade years. He’s an outstanding pianist, an avid reader, and a talented writer. He’s got an old soul (like us), and we’ve always enjoyed his adult-like sense of humor. We miss not seeing him every day, but we’re excited for what his future holds – if he does his homework!
Ethan is the middle child and oldest Homan son. He’s the current state champion in the 800mm run and he’s heading to Boston University next year on a track and field scholarship. With his west coast look and these new pictures, we’re pretty sure he’s gonna need to run from the ladies!
Tess is the oldest child and an aspiring journalist. She’s a junior at ASU’s award-winning Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She was the lead political reporter for The State Press during the 2012 election cycle, and she currently works for The Arizona Republic. You can keep up with her adventures here!
Ben and Annette are model parents. They’re loving and engaged with their children, and they never miss an opportunity to have fun. They also lead the Langham Partnership, an organization dedicated to spreading God’s love around the world.
