Over the past few years, we’ve been blessed to learn online from some of America’s most talented photographers. They share their wisdom and experience openly, freely, and lovingly. They display the good, the bad, and the ugly for all to see and learn from. They get vulnerable. They take criticism. And they expect nothing in return except to offer support and encouragement to other photographers hoping to make our industry better, a collective group of professionals with one objective: serve clients, and do it brilliantly.
We don’t claim to know everything, because we don’t (far from it actually), but we’ve learned a lot since the first time we held cameras and felt completely inadequate. We’re so thankful for the photographers who’ve endured bomb-throwing Internet trolls to share from their hearts, and the best way to repay them is to give back – openly, freely, and lovingly. We’re teachers at heart, and if someone somewhere learns something from this teaching series that makes them better, then we’ve done our job.
Join us each week to learn and maybe laugh a little bit, too. Next week, we’ll begin a new series called What’s in Our Bag? where we’ll review one piece of gear that we love. We’ll explain why we purchased it and how we use it. We hope that you’ll join us from your living room, coffee shop, or workplace. Let’s make each other better.
